If your stainless steel appliances are covered in fingerprints, a glass cleaner such as Windex works quite well. After using glass cleaner, wipe the appliance down with a damp micro-fiber cloth and then dry. There are some specialty stainless steel cleaners on the market that will help repel and prevent fingerprints. I recommend a product called Sheila Shine. If your stainless steel appliances are scratched or stained, you will need to polish them. I use a liquid “Ceran” cooktop cleaner. (Kitchenz Etc. sells a great Ceran Cleaner.)
