Since 2011, Reed Security has been our Trusted Saskatoon alarm and security expert, and we are proud to have them in our community. Their commitment to excellence, innovation, and integrity has set them apart as a local leader in the security industry—and it’s no wonder they’ve become a household name across Saskatoon and beyond.

Our owner, Sara, first met Virgil Reed way back in 2006 at a local networking group. At the time, Virgil was busy building what was then a young and ambitious security company. It’s been inspiring to watch Reed Security grow from those early days into a nationally recognized brand that now protects over 8,000 homes and businesses.

From the beginning, Reed Security has operated with a clear set of values: Trust, Loyalty, Care, and Effort. These values are more than words—they’re visible in every aspect of their service. Whether it’s delivering cutting-edge security technology, supporting local charities and sports teams, or launching a grant program to provide free security equipment to those in need, Reed has consistently gone above and beyond.

Their accomplishments speak volumes. Over the years, Reed Security has earned over 20 award recognitions for excellence in customer service, management quality, and marketing. Just as importantly, they’ve earned the respect and trust of the community they serve.

This year, they’re marking their milestone with a community celebration, and they invite you to join in on the fun! Reed Security’s 25th Birthday Party is taking place on May 25, 2025, at Gather Local Market in Saskatoon. From 11:25 am to 4:25 pm, expect a day full of family-friendly entertainment—bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, music, food, games, and prizes. And no, you don’t have to be a Reed client to attend—it’s a celebration for everyone!
