The store was founded by George Bateman after his return from serving in World War II, and it has remained a trusted name in the city ever since. Over the years, Bateman’s has proudly served four generations of Saskatoon families.
Now recognized as Saskatoon's oldest independent jewellery store, Bateman Jewellers represents more than just longevity. It reflects a legacy built on trust, quality, and dedication. Bateman Jewellers is currently owned and operated by Cam and Janice Kripki, who have carried the store’s legacy forward with care and integrity. Cam began working at Bateman’s in 1991 and later took over ownership in 2005 alongside Janice. Together, they have preserved the values and reputation that have defined Bateman’s for generations.
Cam and Janice are deeply committed to the Saskatoon community. Over the years, they have generously supported numerous local charities, events, and fundraisers. Though they rarely seek the spotlight, their impact on the community has been significant and lasting.
