Trusted Saskatoon REALTOR® Kari Calder has given Easter Seals kids the experience of a lifetime: a week-long trip
to a fully accessible summer camp. By raising over $2,100 this year, Calder is inducted into the 2017 C21® Kids to
Camp Club and receives the CENTURY 21 Golden Heart Award.
Besides recognition, Calder will be connected with a camper who will share their personal experience, to provide
a firsthand story of the donation’s impact. The club’s mission is to provide more kids with life-changing camp
memories by increasing awareness and inspiring fundraising within CENTURY 21 offices.
“I know this program will definitely give many bright campers a wonderful future. In fact, as I write this, I am
heading to Easter Seals Camp Rotary to take the leadership training program. This will help teach me the skills I
will need as I look at future job opportunities,” said 15 year old Brandon Liston, Easter Seals national ambassador.
“I am sure this is the case for many others like me and it is all because of people like Kari – and the Kids to Camp
Club!”
Easter Seals will highlight Calder on a special installation at their local camp and nationally in the organization’s
annual report. As well, they will be sent invites to special Easter Seals’ events as an honourary guest.
Since 1979, CENTURY 21 System members around the world have supported local Easter Seals families through
fundraising and volunteering. To date, they have contributed over $111 million. Last year alone, CENTURY 21
offices across Canada raised over $650,000 for Easter Seals.
