The Trusted Saskatoon Team Brag About A&C Detail Center Your Trusted Saskatoon Auto Detailers

We are thrilled to welcome A&C Detail Center, our newest partner to the Trusted Saskatoon directory of excellence! As the name suggests, A&C Detail Centre are Trusted Saskatoon Auto Detailing Pros  and you can find them in our Saskatoon Cleaning category.

Owner Cindy Delainey is an immigrant who was born in the Philippines and came to Canada when she was 2 years old. Cindy and her husband of 18 years have 2 kids. Family is very important to them.

When the Trusted team spoke to her to find out more about what drives her she shared the following:

" My husband and I have always wanted to own our own business, and I decided to follow in my dad's footsteps. We started our own auto detailing shop.  I didn't want my Dad to work for somebody else anymore.  Along with owning a business, I am also a very active person in the fitness world.  I love being a Team Wawryk athlete as a bikini competitor.  I have been part of the SABBA (Saskatchewan Body Building Association) for 2 years now.  I also host an online mommy group, called No Excuse Mom!  Its a group of woman who support and uplift each other and we support each others fitness journey.  I always like helping out in whatever possible ways I can and I want to give back to my community.  I decided to host a fundraiser for the Saskatoon Food Bank this year.  I toured the facility recently, it sure was an eye-opener to me and it truly touched my heart.  I can't believe how many hungry children we have in this city. After that, I knew I wanted to get the word out  to the community and we arranged a fundraiser day at A&C! “

The fundraiser happened on Sept 10th, 2016. Members of the Trusted team went along to snap some pics and show support. It was great to see the facility that we had heard so much about when we were surveying their clients. We survey all potential partners as part of the Trusted Saskatoon verification process.  A&C Detail Center's efforts along with community support raised over $2000 and a lot of food for the Saskatoon Food Bank in just 1 day!  Cindy and her team have built this business from scratch, they have succeeded by simply offering the best possible vehicle cleaning and their customer service is second to none!

The clients of A&C Detail Center simply wouldn't go anywhere else! They told us they feel like family and no one cleans their vehicles better than the Trusted Saskatoon dream cleaning team at A&C Detail Center!!

Here Speedy Collision shares a tip on Good Practises for Today's Drivers:

Driving is a daily task for most of us, and staying safe on the road is important. Your car is also likely one of your largest investments, so taking care of it should just be common sense.

However, when you spend so much time in your car, it can be easy to overlook even the most basic safety and maintenance issues. These are great habits to get into so that your car will serve you well for years to come, and yet overlooking these simple tasks are some of the most common mistakes drivers make.

Check Your Oil Frequently

Everybody who drives knows that cars need an oil change from time to time. However, many drivers really neglect this fact. They know what needs to be done, but they don't do it. Why?

While you might read that motor oil needs to be changed every 5,000 miles or so, the truth is that the only way to know how often you should be changing your oil is to follow the intervals recommended in the owner’s manual that came with your vehicle - and use the dipstick to see if the oil's color has darkened. Every car is different, but that's why owner's manuals exist.

Not changing your car’s oil frequently enough can harm your. If you have a leak, just topping it up will work for a while, but you should really get it fixed if you want your car to work for any length of time. Engine repairs are among the most costly, so changing your oil on time just makes sense for your pocketbook. You can even keep an eye out for coupons to save money on car maintenance.

Replace Your Air Filter

Most people simply don’t think about the air filter in their cars unless they’re very interested in how a car works. In fact, some people don’t even realize that their car needs a filter. It does, and if your air filter is dirty and needs replacing, your car won’t perform at its best.

Over time, running your car with a dirty air filter can cause the engine to overheat, damaging other parts of your car and keeping it from running efficiently. The worst part is that replacing your air filter is an inexpensive repair, usually below $40, so having a dirty one damage your car for expensive repairs doesn't make sense at all.

Don’t Drive With Worn-Down Brake Pads

Brake pads don’t really break, but they can easily become worn down over a period of time, making it more and more difficult to stop your vehicle. Eventually, that quick stop that keeps you from going past that red light or bumping into a car ahead of you just won’t be possible.

While there really is no ideal amount of time you need to wait between changing brake pads, many mechanics and car manufacturers recommend somewhere in the 20,000- to 25,000-mile range. The best time to have your brake pads checked is when you’re having your tires rotated or replaced since they will be exposed and easily accessible. If the pads need replacing, do it on the spot if you can afford it to avoid any unnecessary risk.

There’s also a few warning signs of worn-down breaks to look for between checkups. You should head to a mechanic if you start hearing squealing when breaking, or if it starts taking longer than usual to break.

Keep Your Eyes on the Road

Beyond maintenance, you should practice good habits while on the road as well. For a lot of people, the biggest driving distraction is using a smartphone to send text messages or make voice calls. There's also applying make-up, changing the radio or iPod playlist, and eating and drinking food. Regardless of what your distraction is, stop it.

You might think you’re saving time, but doing too much while your eyes should be focused on the road can lead to catastrophe.

If you absolutely have to multitask on the road and make calls, you should consider investing in a vehicle with hands-free technology that allows you to dial, talk and answer calls with voice commands. Texting is something that you shouldn’t be doing in your vehicle.

Trusted Saskatoon Auto Dealer expert share a tip on what to do in a Fender-Bender

Trusted Saskatoon Auto Dealers!

tip on what to do in a Fender-Bender:

If you've never been in a fender-bender or a small car crash, then you probably don't know proper post-crash responsibilities. Many young drivers have never been in a small car accident or fender-bender. Once in a crash, it can be difficult to think straight, making it even more difficult to exchange the relevant information and other necessities.

If you've been in a crash, we're here to help, just follow these steps:

STOP

Stop your car at the scene of the accident or as close to the scene as possible. Take all possible precautions to prevent further accidents and ensure the safety of all individuals involved.

ASSIST THE INJURED

If someone appears to be hurt, call 911. Do not move the injured person unless you are qualified to do so.

SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION

If you are injured in any way, go to the emergency room. Seeing a doctor immediately after is very important in getting fair compensation if you have a claim.

CALL THE POLICE

All crashes involving injuries, death, hit and run, an impaired driver, an out-of-province vehicle or where a vehicle must be towed from the scene must be immediately reported to police. In an emergency call 911, for minor emergencies call (306)975-8300. Be prepared to give an accurate description of the crash location, the number of injured persons, and the severity of the injuries. Stay on the phone long enough to ensure that all the information has been recorded.

CHECK FOR WITNESSES

Record the names of any witnesses to assist the police with their investigation. Keep a copy of the names for your records - your insurance company and/or lawyer may need them if legal action follows.

EXCHANGE INFORMATION WITH OTHER DRIVERS

DO: Provide your name and address to the other persons involved in the crash, regardless of the severity of the crash.

DO: Record the license plate number of all vehicles involved in the crash.

DO: If a non-Saskatchewan vehicle is involved, or if you are involved in a collision outside Saskatchewan, provide information on the company that insures your vehicle.

DON'T: Do not admit fault or any other liability before discussing the details of the crash with your insurance adjuster.

DON'T: Do not offer to pay for any repairs or accept payment for repairs unless you are prepared to handle the matter without the help of your insurance company.

REPORT TO SGI

You can report your claim online using the SGI Auto eClaim registration service, or call Dial-A-Claim (306) 683-2100. If your vehicle is not drivable, call Dial-A-Claim to make arrangements with an adjuster. Your vehicle will be towed to a location where the damage can be appraised.

When you report your claim, have the following information on hand:

  • Your driver's license
  • Vehicle registration
  • Your extension policy number (if you have one)

At the claims center, an appraiser will assess the damage to your vehicle and the cost of repairs. Once the appraisal is done, you will receive a printout outlining the cost of repairs.
